Prevention, Retention & Contingency Program

The Prevention, Retention and Contingency Program, commonly known as PRC, provides short-term assistance to help eligible Delaware County families overcome immediate barriers to self-sufficiency.

Program Purpose:
PRC may help with urgent needs related to housing stability, employment retention, transportation, family stability, or other short-term barriers.

PRC Services May Include

Housing & Utilities Housing Assistance   |   Utility Assistance
Transportation Car Repair   |   Vehicle Fuel
Employment Support Employment Retention   |   Employment & Training
Family Support Kinship Caregiver Services

Eligibility

Residency Must reside in Delaware County.
Family Requirement Household must include a minor child.
Income Requirement Household income must be under 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Other eligibility criteria may also apply. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval.

UPDATE: School Clothing Voucher Program
We are no longer accepting new applications for the 2026 School Clothing Voucher Program. We are currently reviewing all applications that were received prior to the closing date, and each submission will continue to be processed in accordance with program guidelines. We encourage families to monitor our Facebook page for upcoming community resources and future announcements.
