Prevention, Retention & Contingency (PRC)
The Prevention, Retention, Contingency (PRC) program is a special category of assistance offered by Delaware County Department of Job & Family Services (DCDJFS). It is designed to help people overcome immediate barriers to achieving or maintaining self-sufficiency and personal responsibility, thereby preventing the need for ongoing public assistance.
Delaware County’s PRC Services include:
- Housing Assistance
- Utility Assistance
- Car Repair
- Vehicle Fuel
- Employment Retention
- Employment and Training
- Kinship Caregiver Services
Eligibility:
- Must reside in Delaware County and have a minor child
- Household income under 200% FPL – 2025 Federal Poverty Guidelines
