Incumbent Worker Training

Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) supports training projects that will benefit local businesses by increasing the skill development of existing employees that have been with their respective company for six months or more. Incumbent Worker Training assists with the creation of new jobs, retention of jobs, increased wages for better-trained workers, a higher-skilled workforce, and a more profitable business climate.

How it works:

Projects are funded based on the eligibility of funds and the number of the company’s full-time employees.

Employer Requirements

Address a strategy that leads to retention of employees, increased skillset, and/or business growth.
Be operating in Delaware County
Have full-time employees (employed at least 6 months)
